A cath lab right here since 2016

FCCI opened the region's first freestanding outpatient cath lab in Jacksonville in 2007, then brought a second one to Palatka in 2016. Both are accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. Most procedures take 1 to 3 hours through a tiny opening in the wrist or groin, with 1 to 5 hours of recovery in a private room.
